I'm Bertram Aakjær, and I'm a 19-year-old student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity at Aalborg University Copenhagen. I'm dedicated to improving my programming skills and deepening my knowledge in computer and cybersecurity. I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to new and exciting projects, not only to learn but also to be a valuable part of a team. Toolbox
I have experience with a variety of programming languages and tools, but my main focus is on quick fun program development with python and low-level programming in Rust. I have experience with the following languages and tools:
Rust (Link)
A language i have small amount of knowledge in, but im trying to improve to be able to write very memory safe code.
Git (Link)
I am fearly experienced with git and use it for all my projects, with a external repository stored on GitHub. For the projects at my university i also use git + GitHub for version control with branches and team workflows.
NixOS (Link)
This is the linux distro running on my hobby laptop, where i want a stable development system, with the added feature of a 1:1 rebuildable system via the .nixos-config uploaded to my GitHub profile.
Kali Linux (Link)
This is my go-to distro for cybersecurity related task. I use this alot in my studies, so im fearly deep in my knowledge and ability to use it for professional work.
Visual Studio Code (Link)
I use VS-code as my main IDE, primarly because of it's modularity and themes, though i rock a very barebones version, to get rid of AI and other bloat.
Python 3.12 (Link)
My go-to language for prototyping and making small projects for fun and i used it a lot in highschool. And i continue to use it alot in my unversity studies, becasue of it versatility on top of simple abstractions.
C (gcc) (Link)
I had a full semester course in it and reciever top grade. Im fearly well versed in it, and has taken a couple courses on the language as well.
Affinity Photo 2 (Link)
My "Photoshop-like" tool for photo editing and graphics for aplications and other media. Im fairly advanced at a hobby level in it.
